Crosfields fell to their third successive league defeat and never really looked like getting anything from this match. Frodsham based Kingsley are said to be a very powerful side and they showed that as they blew the Crosfields defence apart.
If it wasn’t for ‘keeper Stuart Hitchen Crosfields would have lost by a lot more although Hitchen should have been sent off after bringing down a Kingsley player who was through on goal. Crosfields only chance came in the second half when Craig Anthony volleyed wide after some good work down the left between Mark Sherlock and James Gordon. Nick Hamblett also missed a good opportunity from a Gordon cross.
There was not much to say about Crosfields performance apart from dismal and they will have to improve if they are even going to get a single point. Crosfields have now shown there best football, which can be brilliant at times, and also there worst football like in this match. The full time score in Crosfields first home match this season was Crosfields 0, Kingsley 11. Crosfields opponents next week are Cromwell who were narrowly beaten by Eagle 6-5. Crosfields will definitely hope for a better performance next week than this week.
