British Ice Hockey mobile app launched

British Ice Hockey, the leading publication in the sport in the UK, has launched a new iOS/Android app.

The app includes all of the latest ice hockey news from the Elite League, Premier League, National Leagues and Team GB.

It provides a handy one click entry to the site for mobile and tablet users, to sit alongside the increasingly successful responsive website which has grown from strength to strength under editor Michael Black in the past 18 months.

Also on the app is a Rink Finder, enabling fans to find out more about and directions to rinks up and down the country.

JDG Sport, owners of British Ice Hockey, Managing Director, James Gordon, said: “The site has gone from strength to strength in the past year or so, and adding an app was something that we’ve wanted to do for a while, particularly considering the success that the app for sister site Love Rugby League has.

“Ice hockey fans will hopefully appreciate another outlet and method for them to consume their news, and we hope that this move will create further opportunities for more features and more content moving forward.”

JDG Sport is a content and media services provider and online publisher, which also runs the hugely popular Love Rugby League website, as well as sites in other sports.

It’s client base within ice hockey also includes Braehead Clan, Swindon Wildcats and Okanagan Hockey Schools.
