League Thirteen (1eagu3) has launched its new website, which includes a membership area for players, at www.leaguethirteen.co.uk.
The site has been designed and developed by Warrington-based Sportbox Media & Marketing, who own and operate leading rugby league website www.loverugbyleague.com.
A key function of the website is the ability for players to login to a private members area, where they can find out all the latest information relevant to them, network with other players and enjoy other benefits gained from being part of the association.
For other users, the website contains all of the latest League Thirteen news and press releases, as well as information about the work that it undertakes on a daily basis.
Ernie Benbow, Chief Executive Officer of League Thirteen, said: “We are justly proud of the huge strides we have made since our official launch on 23rd January 2012 with this development signalling another important step in our growth. The website will provide us with another potent weapon in our communication armoury that we hope will improve still further our communication with members, prospective members, other professionals within the sport and the public. We are equally delighted to have had the website developed by Sportbox Media & Marketing who are themselves a passionate rugby league orientated company. We will continue to develop our relationship with Sportbox Media & Marketing overtime”
James Gordon, Managing Director of Sportbox Media & Marketing, said: “We were delighted to be able to help Ernie and League Thirteen get a new, purposeful website put together. As passionate rugby league people, we can see the huge value the association brings to the game, particularly for the players, who put their bodies on the line week in, week out.
“To be involved in the development and growth of the association such as this is exactly what our business is about, and we look forward to a positive, long-term working relationship with League Thirteen.”
The new website signifies the start of a marked improvement of League Thirteen’s digital offering, and an increased presence on social media is set to follow.
This is also the first work-related announcement from Sportbox Media & Marketing, since their re-brand from JDG Media.
