It was another tough loss for Manchester Giants as they were handed a mauling at the hands of Glasgow Rocks in my last game before Christmas.
Like many other games this season, the Giants got off to such a slow start that they were virtually beaten in the first quarter.
Trailing 0-12 early on, the Giants did manage to get within three points in the second quarter before falling away alarmingly with a performance that hints that the brief revival in November of three successive wins may well have been a one-off.
From a personal point of view, it felt like one of those days. A few things off the court weren’t how they should, and it was certainly a relief to get out of the building at the end of the day.
