Crosfields lost their last game of the season to Peel Hall. Crosfields went ahead through Matt Gardner but that goal was soon cancelled out at the other end.
The game stayed pretty even throughout the first although the score at half time was Peel Hall three Crosfields one. In the second half Crosfields pulled the deficit back led brilliantly by Mark Sherlock who scored two fine goals. With the score at 3-3 the game looked destined for a draw but it wasn’t to be. In the last ten minutes the home side took advantage of some poor defending to score three goals. Crosfields didn’t deserve to lost and it hasn’t really been their season.
At the end Crosfields manager revealed four of Peel Hall’s goals were offside but that just sums up Crosfields luck. They end their first season with no points. They will want a better season next season. In this game Crosfields lost 6-3 to a poor Peel Hall side. This could be some players last game for the club as Crosfields look to bring in some fresh faces for next season.
