Leigh Sports Village

My 2015 in numbers

This time of year enables you to look back at the previous 12 months and of course ahead to the new one.

2015 saw 98 live games attended, a personal record.

Of those 98, highlights would probably have to be Warrington Town’s Doodson Sport Cup final triumph over Farsley on penalties at Edgeley Park; a first visit to Braehead Arena to see the Clan ice hockey team take on Manchester Storm; and a very hot-tempered rugby league Championship season opener between Leigh and Bradford.
