JDG Media has launched Sportbox Media & Marketing as its new brand in the sports industry.
Sportbox Media & Marketing will position itself as a sports digital agency, offering media and marketing services to sports organisations, who either wish to bring in assistance with their current operations or completely outsource their organisation’s requirements.
The focus of our work will always be on assisting the development of sport, growing fan bases, and increasing brand awareness.
Founded back in 2010 by James Gordon as a sole trader, the business now boasts a growing team and the decision has been made to create a stronger, more recognisable brand to headline our services to a range of sports clubs and organisations.
The business has experience in handling a successful re-brand, having re-branded leading rugby league website LoveRugbyLeague.com from LastTackle.com in recent years, which resulted in traffic increasing by more than 800%.
James Gordon said: “The initial branding came quite simply from my initials, so we felt it was time to introduce a stronger brand to help kick the business forward.
“We always wanted to position ourselves as a niche provider of sport services, so it was time to make it clear with our branding just what we are about.
“As well as sport, we have been fortunate enough to work with several local businesses, who have made use of our expertise in the digital industry, and that will carry on under the JDG Media brand.
“We are excited about the growth of our team and our brands, and look forward to working with many more organisations in the not too distant future.”
Services include website design and development, social media management, content production, PR, advertising and consultancy.
Recent work includes a new website for rugby league players’ association, 1eagu3, the development of the football social betting website, Bets of Mates, and social media management for cycling insurers Velosure.
Sportbox Media will be a trading name of JDG Media Ltd, with the JDG Media brand name retained to service non-sport clients in the local area, following successful growth within the community in the past year.
A new JDG Media logo and brand identity, linked to the new look of Sportbox Media, has been launched.
